Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett made a stop in Bartlesville on Friday to discuss the reasons why he is running for the Republican nomination for governor of Oklahoma, saying state government is a mess and he has the leadership qualities to fix it.

“You look at how we have conducted Oklahoma City and how far we’ve come — and then you contrast that with the state government and this ‘win-lose’ politics, politics all the time. You can see how they just don’t seem to get things done,” Cornett said. “I’d like to go in there and work on the culture at the Capitol to remind everyone that we work for the citizens of Oklahoma and they expect more than what they are getting.”…
